tell him or her that you need time alone and need to think and if they cant accept that then he or she did not really love you if your lover wants you to be happy then he or she should understand. and dont do over the phone. do it in person. but if you are breaking up with him or her for someone else shame, shame , shame just kidding what ever makes you happy!!
